Back with an EXCITING REVIEW (:

Hello everyone ! I know its been pretty long.... oh yes that's definitely long !
Firstly, my humble apologies to you guys as I have been too packed with bookings, school and fashion shoot collaborations. Nevertheless, I have not forgotten all you guys who read my blog ! It's now February and that means I have many more updates coming up. Before i move on to all those stuffs I need to share with you lovelies, here's two products I really loved in the month of January :

1. ELLE 18 KAJAL (with almonds)
2. Puff, Sponge and Miracle Brush Cleanser

1. ELLE 18 KAJAL ( with almonds )

Yes this is the KAJAL also known originally as Kohl ! I went for some shopping two weeks back and I found this new Kajal in Little India, Singapore. I was first sold for its packaging as it was really stylish ! They only had a limited stock in the shop. Everyone was rushing to try this kajal and somehow or rather, I was intrigued by it too!

If you guys were wondering what exactly this is, Kohl/Kajal is an ancient eye cosmetic. It was made by grinding 'galena' (lead sulfide) and other ingredients. It is widely used in South Asia and now in Singapore too., It is actually to darken the eyelids and also acts as mascara for the eyelashes. It is used mostly by women, but also some men and children. Kohl was originally used as protection against eye ailments. There was also a belief that darkening around the eyes would protect one from the harsh rays of the sun. If i clearly remember, some mothers in the early times in Singapores would apply kohl to their infants' eyes soon after birth. However, in modern days now, Kajal seems to like a really good eyeliner for waterline !

It looks like this : (see below!)

My thoughts : What i really liked about this Kajal apart from the previosu ones I purchased was that, it did NOT give my eyes the burning sensation which other Kajals gave. I am sure some of my readers here who are Indians would probably be able to relate to what I am saying. I used to hate this burning feeling and it made my eyes start to tear. As such, the kajal at my waterline would be smudged or would run off and create some mess under my eye area. This particular ELLE 18 KAJAL did wonders and it gave a very precise liner at my waterline not smudging even a little! ITS A MUST TRY ! head down to Little India (Jothi Store), SIngapore as it is only retailing at SGD 2.50 !  (: If i am not wrong you could also find it in Mustafa Centre in Little India Singapore !

2.  Puff, Sponge and Miracle Brush Cleanser

THIS IS ONE AMAZING CLEANER THAT I USE FOR MY
MAKEUP BRUSHES ! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !

This is actually a product made in Japan and I came across this when I went for short retail therapy at DAISO, SINGAPORE. Daiso is a store where you can get anything and everything at just SGD 2 !!! They have awesome stuffs and why would anyone not love DAISO?!! Oh yes, I bought this immediately after I read a label that was on the bottle which said "KEEPS YOUR MAKEUP TOOLS CLEAN!" I just wanted to try and see if it does magic and well here's the result ! I tried this on one of my Real Technique Brushes from the PIXIWOO which was filled with foundation stains.

STEP 1. THE BRUSH

STEP 2 : THE FOUNDATION STAINS ON THE BRUSH

STEP 3 : POUR SOME CLEANSER FROM THE BOTTLE TO THE BRUSH
& SWIRL IT ON A TISSUE OR USE A SPONGE TO SPREAD THE CLEANSER

STEP 4 : RINSE IT WELL UNDER TAP WATER

STEP 5 : TADAAAAAHHHH !! LOOK AT IT ! ALL CLEAN!
This experiment was tried and tested SOLELY by me. I really find this cleanser a value for money !
It is always 2 bucks but it does wonders ! IF you want to get your hands on this amazing cleanser, head down to any DAISO outlets in Singapore or anywhere else in the world right now ! (:
I hope this review was useful to you people.

COMING UP : VALENTINES DAY CONTEST DETAILS...... stay tuned!

 with regards,
